The leaves here seem to be having a hard time changing colors this year. The weather is so dry, the leaves are just dying and falling off the trees instead of changing to those beautiful colors I am so used to seeing. It is supposed to rain tomorrow and then for several days. Maybe that will help.

Pumpkin
It's finally starting to feel like fall here. Less humidity in the air. A certain crispness to it that I love. I'm enjoying my online class with Laure - it makes me look even more closely at the world around me. And what a beautiful world it is!

White Pumpkin
This is an excercise from Laure Ferlita's Fall Class. It looks so simple - it gave me a FIT! First, I did it on the wrong paper and then it just went down hill from there! LOL Learned a lot though.

Indigo Bunting
Using tips from a great art teacher (Laure Ferlita) I tried to tweak some of the details of my Indigo Bunting. I like it better, but it still isn't what I had hoped for.
